A seesion of Iraqi Parliament started Monday night to vote on Prime Minister-designate Haider Al-Abadi's proposed cabinet and its policy.
The session, including 179 MPs, was attended by the new Iraqi President Fouad Massoum, the head of the Supreme Judicial Council Medhat Al-Mahmoud and heads of diplomatic missions in the country.
At least 50 MPs withdrew for the session as their demands were not included in the government's policy. (end) mhg.hm
