A unit of the Iraqi army launched an attack Wednesday on sites for Daesh militants under cover by US Air Forces warplanes near the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
According to a statement by the Iraqi army, the US warplanes launched air raids against three different sites occupied by Daesh militants in Jurf Al Sakhar, about 60 kilometers southwest of Baghdad.
At least four militants were killed during the raids, the statement added.
