Deputy chairman of the Council of Representatives, Hamoudi Hammudi (L)

The first deputy chairman of the Council of Representatives, Hamoudi Hammudi rejected Iraq to be a party of the international coalition in a war against any other international axis.
He called for supporting the Iraqi government and seek to make it work and stay away from questioning their abilities, both in the imposition of security or in contract agreements with other countries.
He praised in a press statement the volunteers of the popular mobilization and security forces who faced terrorist factions bravely, stressing the importance of strengthening confidence in their abilities.
He added, "The country needs concerted international efforts to fight terrorists ," referring to "the need to have international support in partnership with the Iraqi decision, through an agreement or treaty to ensure the country's sovereignty."
On the other hand, Hamoudi said that "the debate on the nomination of the heads of the committees reached an advanced stage and it is hoped that conclusively resolved during the next few days" .
