The Iraqi Defense Ministry has announced that it had received another batch of Russian helicopters with “high flexibility” to be brought into service as part of its war on terrorism against the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, IraqiNews reported Sunday.
All in all, Iraq is to receive 40 Mi-28 helicopters from Russia.
The ministry added that the helicopters carry guided weapons, cannons and advanced navigational systems.
