Fayyoum criminal investigation experts examined Tuesday the blast scene of an electricity pylon in a village of Etsa municipality.
Four highly explosive bombs were used in the attack on the pylon, three exploded and the fourth was defused, Criminal Investigation Department Director Mohammed al-Shami said.
Meanwhile, security forces are intensifying their efforts to arrest unidentified gunmen who opened fire from an automatic weapon on a petroleum products transport vehicle in Fayyoum. (
