Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim made a surprise inspection tour of Alexandria to check on security services.
The interior minister inspected fixed and mobile roadblocks on the Cairo-Alexandria highway and their preparedness to deal with outlaws, the ministry said in a statement.
Ibrahim is expected to have a meeting with a number of Alexandria security leaders to review challenges facing policemen in the current phase, the statement added.
