Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa chaired the Traffic Council meeting.

The session was attended by Education Minister, Dr Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning, Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf, Minister of Transportation and Communication, Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa and General Director of Traffic Shaikh Abdulrahman Al Khalifa.

The Interior Minister welcomed the council members and asserted the importance of continuing efforts to reinforce traffic safety for all road users. The meeting reviewed a study on traffic cases.
The Interior Minister called for speeding up the assigning of minor accidents to insurance companies, especially those which do not involve major violations.
He expressed thanks and appreciation to the members for their dedicated efforts to enhance traffic safety.
