Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah

Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah on Saturday underlined the importance of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Ministers of Information and Culture meetings Kuwait hosts this week.
Sheikh Salman Al-Humoud reviewed arrangements of the two gatherings as he presided over a meeting today for the teams in charge of the organization of the event from both the Ministry of Information and the Kuwait National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters (NCCAL).
Kuwait hosts the meetings of the GCC Ministers of Information on Wednesday and then Ministers of Culture on Thursday as the current head of the GCC.
The ministerial meetings acquire special importance, coming amid regional developments that prompt more coordination and cooperation among the member states, the Minister said.
Sheikh Salman Al-Humoud was briefed by officials from the Ministry and the NCCAL on preparations and arrangements for the ministerial meetings.
Undersecretaries from the GCC Ministries of Information meet here on Sunday while their counterparts from the bloc's Ministries of Culture meet a day later, to approve the meetings' agenda and prepare the memoranda and resolutions to be submitted to the ministers.
