His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister issued a circular stipulating holiday on the first day of the Hijra New Year 1436H as follows:
"Occasion of the advent of the new year 1436H, the Kingdom's ministries, directorates and institutions shall take a recess on Saturday the first day of Muharram 1436H corresponding to October, 25th, 2014 and whereas that day falls on a weekend holiday, it would be offset with a recess taken on Sunday corresponding to October 26th, 2014."
