The Islamist Hamas movement on Saturday called on its members and leaders not to respond to security summons by the Palestinian Authority in the occupied West Bank.
In a press statement, Hossam Badran, Hamas spokesman, condemned what he called "the mounting of summons and detentions in the West Bank".
"These acts are unacceptable and unjustified," he said.
