Local Development Minister Adel Labib said Saturday governors should be chosen on the basis of political and administrative qualifications.
Having the political and executive background, a governor would succeed in performing one's tasks, Labib said in an interview with "Hadeeth El Sa'a" talk show on Egyptian TV's Channel 1.
He unveiled that the coming governors' reshuffle would be limited.
The minister said that female assistants would be appointed to all governors.
