The Wali (governor) of South Kordofan State, Engineer Adam Al-Fekki Mohamed, affirmed that the state is witnessing a significant security and stability situation, a matter that led to expansion of the cultivated areas at the most of the state localities.
In a statement to SUNA, Al-Fekki said that the state has completed meetings of the sectoral conferences which included the Youths, Women and Unions conferences, adding that peace in South Kordofan state is a humanitarian demand and strategic goal.
He renewed his call on the gun holders to join the negotiations until peace is achieved via negotiations.
