Gharbiya Security Chief Osama Bedir said on Thursday that all vital and governmental facilities in the province are completely secured.
He added that troops have been deployed at the entrances and exits of the province to provide security.
"Policemen are ready to sacrifice themselves for Egypt," he said, adding that the anti-terrorism war will continue.
He also vowed to firmly face any riot acts in the province.
