Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s Secretary-General, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, today in New York, met Foreign Minister of the Republic of Yemen, Jamal Abdullah Al-Salal, and was briefed on the latest developments in Yemen.
GCC Sec-Gen highlighted the GCC countries' support for efforts of Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, in restoring security and stability in Yemen.
He stressed promoting Yemeni government to carry on with the political process in accordance with the Gulf initiative, implementation of the executive national dialogue outputs and UN Security Council resolutions on Yemen.
