GCC Foreign Ministers will take part in the 132nd session of the GCC Ministerial Council, due to convene here on Saturday, August 30, 2014, under the chairmanship of the Kuwaiti First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, with the participation of the GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.
Dr. Al-Zayani highlighted the importance of the current session, given the successive developments in the region requiring constant consultations among GCC states.
He added that the meeting would focus on joint GCC action, implementation of the recommendations of the Kuwait Summit and strategic dialogue between the GCC and other blocs.
Reports submitted by ministerial committees will also be discussed, he said.
