GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani condemned Tuesday the assassination of the Secretary general of the Union of Popular Forces party Mohammed Abdulmalik Al-Mutawakil in downtown the capital city of Sana'a.
The assassination of Dr. Al-Mutawakil is a terrorist act which is against all moral and human values, Al-Zayani said in a statement.
Al-Zayani added that the assassination is a big loss for Yemen and its national political forces, extolling the deceased's positions and his continued efforts to push the political process forward in Yemen.
Al-Mutawakil was shot dead by a gunman on a motorbike in central Sana'a.
