Funerals were held in three Beheira towns on Saturday for four army personnel who were killed in a terrorist attack in North Sinai on Friday.
Thousands of residents attended the funerals.
The mourners chanted anti-terrorism slogans, and demanded retribution from the culprits.
At least 31 soldiers were killed and dozens others wounded by a car bomb that targeted a Sinai checkpoint near the border with the Gaza Strip on Friday.
