Thousands of Sohag residents on Saturday took part in a funeral held for a soldier who was killed in a North Sinai terrorist attack on Friday.
The funeral of Mazen Hemdan Aboud, 22, was held in Brkhel village in the the Upper Egyptian province.
During the funeral, mourners chanted anti-terrorism slogans, and demanded retribution from the culprits.
