Fujairah Ruler receives Australian Assistant Minister for Trade

H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, today received the Australian Assistant Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, Keith Pitt, at his official residence in Al Rumailah.

The Australian official was accompanied by Arthur Spyrou, Australian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Gerard Speer, Australian Consul-General to the UAE, and a number of embassy staff who were calling on the Ruler to discuss co-operation and trade investment.

The Fujairah Ruler welcomed the visiting delegation and wished them good luck in accomplishing their missions, and strengthening co-operation between UAE and Australia on various levels. He said that he also hoped that the visit will achieve fruitful results, aimed at exchanging knowledge and expertise in the energy and metals sectors, between the two countries.

Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Fujairah Emiri Court, also attended the meeting, along with other senior officials.
