Egypt’s Foreign Ministry is following up the latest developments in Iraq and their repercussions on the conditions of the Egyptian community, said Assistant foreign minister for consular affairs ‏Ambassador Ali Ashiri.
The consular sector at the Foreign Ministry held a meeting to follow up the situation in Iraq with the participation of representatives of the concerned bodies.
The Foreign Ministry has issued a travel warning over Iraq, advising the Egyptian nationals living in Iraq to take caution and stay away from areas of tension and clashes.
