Firefighters managed Friday to contain a fire that erupted in a notary office in Fayyoum governorate, southwest of Cairo.
Part of the office and its documents were gutted by fire.
Fire squads rushed to the scene to put out the flames before sweeping to the rest of the building.
The prosecution was notified to launch an investigation.
