The Federation of Egyptian Industries condemned the blast that hit a checkpoint in North Sinai on Friday killing and injuring dozens of soldiers.
In a statement Saturday, the federation said that this cowardly act would not affect the country's stability.
It also confirmed full support to the Egyptian armed forces in defeating the forces of terror and darkness
The federation head Mohammed Zaki Al Suwaidi urged Egyptians to stand united to face terrorism.
