Andre Zaki, the deputy head of the Evangelical Church in Egypt, sent on Friday a cable of greetings to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the occasion of the new Hijri year.
In his cable, Zaki wished progress and stability for Egypt.
He also greeted al-Azhar Grand Imam Ahmad el-Tayyib on the same occasion.
Similar cables were sent to Prime Minster Ibrahim Mahlab, Awqaf Minister Mohamad Gomaa, Egypt's Mufti Shawqi Allam and a number of ministers and governors.
