His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received, Monday at Seif Palace, First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah who introduced to him a number of newly-appointed Kuwaiti diplomatic envoys.
Sheikh Sabah Khaled introduced to His Highness the Amir the new Ambassador to Ghana Mohammad Hussein Al-Failakawi; new Ambassador to Tanzania Jassem Ibrahim Al-Najem; new Ambassador to Kenya Qosi Rashid Al-Farhan; and new Ambassador to Kazakhstan Tariq Abdullah Al-Faraj.
The Foreign Minister also introduced to His Highness the Amir the new Consul-General in the Iraqi city of Irbil Omar Ahmad Al-Kandari and the new Consul-General in the Iraqi city of Basra Yusuef Ashor Al-Sabagh.
The diplomatic envoys took the oath before His Highness the Amir who provided them with his instructions to better represent their country and serve and protect its higher interests. His Highness the Amir wished them success in their mission.
For his part, the Foreign Minister thanked His Highness the Amir for his important instructions and candid advices which will help the new envoys better deliver their mission to strengthen Kuwait's ties with world countries.
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Amir Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah, Director of His Highness the Amir's Office Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Fahad, Amiri Protocols Chief Khaled Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah Al-Nasser Al-Sabah and head of the Foreign Ministry's Protocols Department Dhari Ajran Al-Ajran.
