Amnesty conditions apply to 78 prisoners in different prisons in Egypt, the Interior Ministry's Prisons Department has said.
It said in a press release it has already finished checking the files of inmates nationwide to determine those who could be granted a pardon in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 244/2014 and found that the amnesty terms apply to the 78 convicts.
