The Interior Ministry has denied news reports claiming that a Muslim Brotherhood (MB) cell from workers at Prisons Department has been arrested for plotting with MB members who are detained in Tora Prison.
In a press release on Thursday, an Interior Ministry media official asserted that such claims are bare of truth.
The statement asserted that there are strict procedures and regulations in prisons that follows up all prisons' employees.
He added that decisions to move policemen is periodic and subject to certain regulations that coincides with security work requirements.
