The upcoming parliament will be the country's most important due to the role it will undertake in transforming the constitution into laws and legislations, said leader of the Socialist Popular Alliance Party Abdel-Ghaffar Shokr.
The party will be competing for a number of individual seats at parliament in addition to an electoral list.
The Civil Democratic Current, to which the party is affiliated, is still receiving candidacy applications for the electoral list, Shokr said.
