Renaissance Dam

The political will of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia is strong enough to render the fourth session of the trilateral talks due to start in Khartoum on Monday successful, sources in the Sudanese capital have told MENA.
The meeting will group the water resources ministers of the three African states.
The sources said the meeting between Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemarian Desalegn in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea on the sideline of the African Summit succeeded to improve the relations between the two countries and paved the way for the continuation of talks among them on the Renaissance Dam.
The coming talks would dwell on technical concerns of the amount of water behind the dam and the technicality of filling and discharging the saved water.
The three parties are seeking to minimize their differences based on directives of the leaderships of the three countries, the sources concluded.
