The cabinet held a meeting on Wednesday under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab to discuss a set of important political, economic and security issues as well as some recent presidential decrees.
The cabinet reviewed the security situation and reports submitted by the ministers on their recent field tours in Cairo and other governorates.
Also, a report on Egypt's foreign policy has been raised during the meeting.
The conferees discussed a set of economic and investment issues as well as means of luring foreign investments and preparations for Egypt's economic conference, slated for February.
