Egypt received from Ethiopia on Thursday the chairmanship of meetings of the second round of negotiations involving it together with Ethiopia and Sudan on the issue of the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.
The committee groups 12 experts four from each country according to an agreement reached by the ministers of water of the three countries.
Egypt's minister of water resources Hossam Moghazi opened the dam committee meeting earlier Thursday where he stressed the importance of achieving development and prosperity for all Nile-basin nations.
