Egypt's Mufti Dr Shawqi Allam said Wednesday that the country is living a critical stage of its history but there is hope the future would be much better.
He urged citizens to double their efforts and focus on building and developing Egypt.
Citizens should adopt the moderate teachings of Islam and unite for the sake of the country, Allam said.
Women are main players in society and their role cannot possibly be ignored, the mufti said.
