Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met on Thursday with his Sudanese counterpart Ali Kirti over boosting bilateral cooperation.
Talks are to focus on a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
Sudanese media sources have earlier said that talks with Shoukry will touch on preparations for the visit of Sudanese President Omar Hassan Bashir to Egypt to take place soon
The visit comes upon an invitation by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi during his June visit of Khartoum.
