The Foreign Ministry denied on Sunday allegations that Egyptian warplanes have taken part in bombing posts seized by Libyan militias in Tripoli.
These are groundless reports, the ministry said in a statement.
Egypt is closely following up the political and security developments in Libya and hopes that a national government would be formed quickly after the election of the parliament, the statement said.
Egypt hopes that the new government would work for materializing Libyans' aspirations and contribute to building State institutions, it added.
