Egypt condemns Israel's decision to build 1,000 housing units in al-Quds (East Jerusalem), said Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel-Ati Monday.
In a statement, Abdel-Ati said such decision, if confirmed, will undermine efforts to resume peace talks between the Palestinian and Israel, block the two-state solution project and deepen hatred in the region.
The spokesman called on international community to condemn such Israeli practices.
