Egypt has expressed its full condemnation of all forms of terrorism practiced by the so-called organisation of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria "ISIS" which has killed or maimed many innocent Iraqi civilians.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry in its statement issued on Tuesday and published by the Middle East News Agency (MENA) said that such terrorist crimes completely contravene the teachings of Islam and are considered crimes against humanity and a blatant violation of the provisions of international humanitarian law.
Egypt urged all Iraqi political forces and personalities to uphold the interest of their country, defend its national sovereignty and territorial integrity and to achieve the aspirations of the Iraqi people and align the ranks to counter this terror organisation.
Egypt which wages a war on terror said that it expects from friendly countries and the international community to muster efforts and to provide all sorts of possible assistance in order to fight this ugly global phenomenon which threatens international security and stability.
