Egypt is capable of organizing any event at any time, Alexandria Governor Tareq Mahdi has said in a press conference on the activities of the 30th Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean countries that will run on September 10-15.
This round will be totally different from the former one, he added.
Director Dawood Abdel Sayeed, actress Nadia el-Gendi, singer Mohamed Moneir will be honored during the event.
The event is dedicated to actor Nour el-Sherif, said head of the festival.
France will be a guest of honor in the festival, he added.
Egypt, the UAE, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Oman, Bahrain, Algeria, Sudan, Tunisia, Turkey, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Spain, Serbia, Montenegro, Malta and Albania will take part in the event, he said.
