Egypt on Tuesday welcomed the formation of a new Iraqi government.
The formation of the new Iraqi government " is a positive step on the road to bring all the forces in Iraq to build the future of the country and the return of Iraq as influential major Arab role in its regional environment," Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ambassador Bader Abdulati said.
He added that Egypt is looking forward to cooperating with Iraq in the future, especially challenges facing Arab region and fight against global terrorism.
Meanwhile Secretary General of the Arab League Dr. Nabil Al-Araby has also welcomed the formation of the new Iraqi government.
He also stressed Arab League's support to the new Iraqi government in its fight against terrorism. (end) rk.mfm.ss
