Egypt's Ambassador in Beirut Ashraf Hamdy renewed on Saturday Cairo's support for Lebanon.
"Lebanon's stability is a must for the region," Hamdy said as he ends his tenure in Lebanon.
He voiced hope that a new Lebanese president will be elected soon.
