Head of Al-Sadat Democratic Party Effat Sadat said Monday that many parties will probably merge after the next parliamentary polls.
Many parties exist by name only but have no influence on the ground, Sadat said, expecting those fragile entities to try to merge with other parties that have public support.
There are 90 political parties in Egypt, Sadat said, believing this is not something positive.
