Nablus - PNN
Dozens of Palestinian youths were injured during clashes that erupted this morning near Joseph’s tomb east of Nablus, in the north of the West Bank.
Local sources reported that Israeli settlers accompanied by the Israeli Occupation Forces raided Joseph’s tomb, under the pretext of performing prayers from the Talmud. Palestinian protesters responded to this raid by throwing stones at the Israeli soldiers, who were surrounding the area. The Israeli army fired tear gas and rubber bullets, causing dozens of cases of suffocation.
Sources reported that the IOF set up a military base in the area to protect the Israeli settlers.
