Al-Dostor Party welcomed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's intention to hold a conference to open a political dialogue among parties.
"The step is positive and reflects understanding of the role of political parties," party spokesman Khaled Dawoud said.
"The most important thing is the eventual response to the proposed opinions and not a repeat of previous societal dialogue calls which used to end without considering the floated ideas," he added.
A review is needed for the elections and protest laws, according to the party.
