Assistant Arab League Secretary-General for Palestine Affairs Mohamed Sobeih, called for cooperation to face violence against children in the region especially in Palestine.
During a workshop on child laws and rights of children in the Arab world, Sobeih said wars and conflicts in the region affected the lives of many children.
He pointed out that Israel's aggression on the Gaza Strip last summer killed about 600 children and injured some 15,000 others.
