Cairo Underground Metro service has returned to normal on all its lines after a 115-minute suspension during Thursday's morning rush hour.
The head of the metro service company Ali Fadali told MENA that the technical power fault that caused the disruption was fixed.
The first and the second metro lines had come to a complete halt.
