Train movement between Cairo, Zagazig and Mansoura is back to normal after a 5-hour hiatus.
The disruption occurred after an explosion targeted a barrier in one of the villages located along the train route and caused damage to the tracks.
Six trips were canceled as a result, the railway authority said.
