Cairo - MENA
The cabinet underscored Saturday it would take decisive and urgent measures for retribution from culprits of the terrorist attack that targeted army personnel in their checkpoint in North Sinai.
In its statement, the cabinet urged all political parties and powers to unite their efforts to accomplish the demands of the January 25 and June 30 revolutions, and complete the left stages of the future roadmap, set on July 3, 2013.
In defiance of terrorism, the cabinet asserted it would go ahead with its preparations for holding the parliamentary elections and the economic conference late in February.
The cabinet stressed such heinous crimes would make the government more resolved in meeting the Egyptians' aspirations for a better future.
At least 30 soldiers were killed and dozens more wounded by a car bomb that targeted a Sinai checkpoint near the border with the Gaza Strip on Friday.
