An Iraqi policeman and civilians inspect the site of a bomb attack

At least three people were killed when a suicide bomber blew himself up at a marketplace in northern Iraqi capital Saturday, a security source told KUNA.
The source added that over 15 others were injured in the attack. The police cordoned off the attack scene and launched a probe into the circumstances of the blast.
Suicide bombing attacks are an almost daily occurrence in Baghdad.
According to a UN tally released on Wednesday, at least 1,119 people were killed in acts of violence across Iraq in September, most of them civilians.
