Prince Khalifa bin Salman

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has expressed utmost pride and appreciation in His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s lauding of the government’s efforts to preserve and optimise the hard-won national achievements, bring about a development boom, consolidate national cohesion and enhance the status of modern Bahrain.
He emphasised that the Royal reply to the statement issued by the cabinet during Sunday’s regular weekly meeting, chaired by him, will urge the government and its bodies to double efforts in order to assume their responsibilities and ensure security and serenity for all citizens and residents, in line with HM the King’s directives.
Chairing a work meeting dedicated to the implementation of the Royal directives to prevent attempts to sow sedition and spark sectarian strife and deal with outlaws firmly, HRH Premier instructed the relevant security bodies to conduct a comprehensive review of the measures they are adopting in dealing with saboteurs, terrorists and outlaws for the sake of developing them and making them more effective in putting an end to acts of sabotage, blasts and evil attempts to disrupt security and stability.
HRH the Prime Minister ordered immediate measures to stop the exploitation of platforms in inciting violence and fueling sectarianism, quiz instigators using social media to sow hatred and take the necessary procedures to prevent abuse of those networks and hold accountable inciters of terrorism and sedition, be it through statements or publications, so that "no one would believe, mistakenly, that they are immune from accountability" or above the law.
"What had been tolerated before, in accordance with priorities, will no longer be allowed, amid the critical situation the region surrounding Bahrain is going through," he said, directing the executive sides not to leave any loophole for any attempt to spread chaos or encourage terrorism.
He stressed the need to reinforce the law and take firm measures against violators and outlaws.
