Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh sent a cable of congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on granting him an award by the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding (FFEU) in recognition of his landmark contributions to enhancing dialogue among religions and cultures.
The award was handed over in a celebration organised by the organisation in the USA marking the 25th anniversary of its inception.
The Shura Council Chairman extended heartfelt congratulations to HM the King, stressing that the award was a tribute for his outstanding role in promoting interfaith and inter-cultural dialogue, boosting economic, social and cultural cooperation and fostering mutual respect between people.
