Azhar scholars said on Tuesday that Islam is calling for the protection of all human beings.
The scholars, who are taking part in a forum organized by the World Association of Al-Azhar Graduates, said Islam is a religion that calls for peace and is against all kinds of terrorism.
"Muslim preachers should highlight that Islam renounces violence and terrorism," Mohamed Abdel Fadil, the vice president of the association, said.
