Army forces in cooperation with policemen killed ten dangerous terrorists in a fire exchange with troops.
They arrested 17 other terrorists in a security crackdown over the past two days in North Sinai, Islamilia and Daqahlia, military spokesman Mohamed Samir said.
He said six vehicles and 24 bikes without plates were destroyed, adding they were being used in carrying out terrorist attacks.
The spokesman said 18 smuggling tunnels were destroyed.
